Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 9, 2026 · MHO Hotels

MHO Hotels respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit our website, book a stay, join MHO Rewards, or communicate with us — and how we use, share, and protect that information under applicable United States laws.

Who we are

This Privacy Policy applies to MHO Hotels and independently owned hotels operating under MHO brands (collectively, “MHO,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). Our corporate headquarters is located in Bordentown, New Jersey.

Each franchised or independently operated property may also maintain guest records for reservations and on-site services. Those properties process information as described in this policy and in notices provided at the property.

Information we collect

We may collect the following categories of information:

  • Contact details: name, email address, phone number, and mailing address
  • Account information: MHO Rewards membership ID, login provider, and profile preferences
  • Reservation and stay data: dates, room preferences, payment method details (processed by our payment partners), and special requests
  • Communications: messages you send through contact forms, email, phone, or chat
  • Marketing preferences: whether you opt in to promotional email or SMS
  • Device and usage data: IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and cookies or similar technologies
  • Accessibility preferences stored locally in your browser when you use our accessibility menu

How we use information

We use personal information to:

  • Process reservations, check-ins, and guest services at our hotels
  • Administer MHO Rewards memberships, discounts, and loyalty benefits
  • Respond to inquiries and provide customer support
  • Send transactional messages such as booking confirmations and account notices
  • Send promotional email or SMS only when you have provided appropriate consent
  • Improve our website, security, and guest experience
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms & Conditions

Email marketing (CAN-SPAM Act)

We send commercial email only to individuals who have opted in to marketing communications, except where a narrow exception applies (for example, an existing business relationship limited by law).

Every marketing email identifies MHO Hotels as the sender, includes our valid physical mailing address, and provides a clear way to unsubscribe. You may also update preferences in your MHO Rewards account or use our unsubscribe page.

We honor opt-out requests promptly and do not require login to unsubscribe from marketing email.

SMS and text messages (TCPA)

We send promotional text messages only after you provide express written consent, such as checking an opt-in box during membership registration or profile completion. Consent is not required to purchase goods or services.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel marketing texts and HELP for help. We may still send transactional texts related to an active reservation when necessary.

Cookies and similar technologies

We use essential cookies and local storage to operate the website, remember accessibility settings, and maintain secure sessions. We may use analytics tools to understand how visitors use our site.

You can manage cookies through your browser settings. See our Cookie Preferences page for more detail.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:

  • Hotel owners and operators fulfilling your reservation
  • Service providers that help us with hosting, email delivery, payments, and customer support
  • Law enforcement or regulators when required by law or to protect rights and safety
  • Successors in the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, subject to this policy

Data retention

We retain information for as long as needed to provide services, meet legal and accounting requirements, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Marketing suppression lists may be retained after you unsubscribe so we can honor your choice.

Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children’s privacy

Our website and rewards program are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Contact us if you believe we have received such information.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of your personal information, and to opt out of certain processing.

California residents may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), including the right to know categories of information collected and to request deletion, subject to exceptions for hospitality records and legal obligations.

To exercise privacy rights, contact us using the information below. We may verify your request before responding.
